In Paris, between Place Vendôme and Rue Saint-Honoré, Maje is opening a new kind of boutique, as a tribute to young designers.

At our new store on 350, Rue Saint-Honoré, we are celebrating young designers and showcasing the creative talents that are so important to Judith Milgrom. Right in the heart of Paris, just round the corner from our studios near the Louvre, we wanted to create a unique, personal space, a second head office for the fashion house, where bold, offbeat, women’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections would have an opportunity to express themselves.

The store has been designed in partnership with a duo of new-generation architects, the Haddou-Dufourcq studio, a real favourite of Judith’s ever since they won an award at the Design Parade Toulon in 2018. Together, we imagined a structure that was both strong and soft, perfect for showcasing our collections. A space that blends the here and now with the exotic, through highly Parisian, neo-classical geometric patterns and Mediterranean inspirations. A space that plays on contrasts between angular and rounded shapes, rough textures and soft colours.

« Rue Saint-Honoré is a little like Maje’s home, as our studios are very close by, near the Louvre Museum. I wanted it to be a special place that fully expresses the spirit of the fashion house. A space that’s warm, accessible and elegant, just like us. A unique place that blends the - very Parisian - here and now with the exotic and its Mediterranean influences. »

« This new store will be a new experience for our customers, right in the heart of Paris. This approach illustrates our more sustainable commitment both to the store concept as well as to production and sourcing of our products. »

We decided to use less new furniture in this more lifestyle environment, with its warm tones and natural materials, instead preferring vintage furniture, to promote more responsible consumption.

We also enlisted the help of the Desprez-Breheret gallery, a Parisian vintage furniture gallery much loved by Judith. They selected furniture for us by renowned designers, such as Charlotte Perriand and Paco Munoz, as well as emerging contemporary artists.
